Messier 77 is a galaxy in the constellation of Cetus, some 45 million light-years away from us. Also known as NGC 1068, it is one of the most famous and well-studied galaxies. It is a real star among galaxies, with more papers written about it than many other galaxies put together!

The streaks of red and blue in the image highlight pockets of star formation along the pinwheeling arms, with dark dust lanes stretching across the galaxy’s starry centre. Because I feel like blogging. :)

I love astronomy! Space, planets, life on other planets - it fascinates me! Sometimes I wish I was talented in math and science so I could work for NASA as an astronomer.
I love ALL types of music. If you looked at my Spotify you’d see all type of music from classical to old school rap to reggaeton to punk rock to house. Pretty much all different kinds. I am the most eclectic person I know when it comes to music.
I identify with my Latino half more than my Asian even though I look pure Filipino. Don’t get me wrong - I love both cultures, but people seem to automatically stereotype me to my Asian heritage when I’m much more knowledgeable with my Latino heritage.
I don’t like the spotlight. I find it tiring. Some people enjoy the attention but I think if you are confident in yourself, you don’t need other people’s approval to feel good.
I have quite the green thumb. I love plants: indoor and outdoor. One day I will have my very own backyard garden with fruits, veggies, and flowers,
I’m a sports fan! Love football, basketball, and MMA. Go Bears and Bulls!
I am an EXTREME germophobe. I always have hand sanitizer, and I wash my hands often.
I enjoy playing video games. It bothers me when people say they “loooove” video games when I know they don’t judging by how much they suck at the game. LOL.
I am definitely a listener. I’m kind of a closed book. I don’t mind people venting to me. I don’t let a lot of people know about me personally so I feel a lot of people don’t know the real me.
I’m attracted to Latino and Caucasian men. :P
I’ve played the flute since I was in 7th grade, and I still practice on my own. It’s not as fun solo without a band though.
I love the summer. I think I shine more in the summer than winter. I’m all about sundresses, shorts, sandals, sunglasses, and swim suits. Winter clothes sucks, and I feel frumpy.
I’m a sucker for chocolate.
If I’m really honest with myself, I’m a tomboy.
I have an old soul, but I’m super liberal.
Because of my animation major, I appreciate animated motion pictures and video games so much more than I used to. I know all the ins and outs of production and know how hard it is to work on large-scale projects.
My dog Mochi is my baby. Sometimes I don’t think I want kids, maybe I’ll just have puppies. HAHA!
The most important parts of a house to me are the kitchens and bathrooms. My dream home will have an awesome kitchen and awesome bathrooms.
I love candles and wine. I can get pretty romantic at times. LOL.
Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong era. I love everything vintage. I should’ve been a white lady in the 50s. That would have been awesome. Hahahaha! Seriously though.
I have an obsessive habit of buying purses, shoes, and lipstick.
I hate yellow cheeses, They make my stomach turn.
I loved boxing when I was able to. My favorite type of work out. I definitely miss it.
I love to wind down after a long day with a cup of chamomile tea.
I am happy with where I am in life, and it only gets better from here on out!

I don’t write much, but I feel like this is worth posting. I’ve been listening to a lot of my old music lately and it brings back all these emotions. It’s so crazy! How does a song make you feel so happy, so sad, so… everything, all at one time? I feel that way often when I listen to certain songs. Specifically:
